In Volfyirion Guilds Retail Edition you take on the role of a mighty guild. Long ago, five great guilds were founded to stop the rise of a noble house. Now those same guilds are fighting each other fiercely for power. Your mission is clear: destroy all of your opponent's cities and try to get the dragon Volfyirion on your side. The story takes place in the Mysthea Universe, a world of its own with beautiful artwork and an atmosphere that draws you in right away. You both start with the same deck of cards, but from the very first turn you go your own way. You buy new cards, build up your deck step by step and decide how to defend your cities with buildings and troops. Every card can be played in several ways, so no two games are the same. The dragon Volfyirion is a threat to both of you, but whoever dares can defeat it and take over its lair. That is the hardest task, and at the same time the finest victory. This is a game for two players that moves along nicely, with a game lasting about twenty minutes. You will learn the rules quickly, but mastering them takes practice. You can play Volfyirion Guilds Retail Edition on its own, or combine it with the original Volfyirion for even more options. There is also a solo mode, so you can take on the challenge all by yourself.
