In Virulence: An Infectious Card Game you step into the shoes of a virus. Well, into a cell really. You and your fellow players are all viruses trying to invade the same host cell. Whoever multiplies best collects the most points and wins. Each round you secretly pick a virus card from your hand and place it face down on the table. Then you all flip at the same time. The player with the strongest virus gets to choose first from the available parts. Some cards score points right away, while others help you get stronger later on. Every choice counts, and sometimes you simply bluff your opponents out. The nice thing about this game is that you can explain it in half a minute and play it in ten. Perfect for a quick filler, or as a warm-up for a long games night. Blind bidding, a bit of luck and a healthy dose of fighting spirit: that is exactly what makes these games so addictive.
