Deep beneath the surface of the water, a world you do not yet know awaits. With New Discoveries, the first expansion for Underwater Cities, you dive even deeper into building your underwater empire. New components open doors that used to stay closed, and give you fresh ways to play and win. There are 52 new cards, giving every deck more choice. The new assistants each have their own trick, so every underwater empire gets a character of its own. With the starting tiles you begin the game with construction already under way, so you get going straight away. There are also new game boards, plus the original boards reprinted in better quality. The green metropolises bring new benefits and work just a little differently in each variant. And on the seabed you make discoveries that earn you prestige, while you help build the international museum. That way a different adventure unfolds at the table every time. Please note: this is an expansion, not a standalone game. You need the base game to play.
