Tranquility

Step aboard the ship Tranquility and set course for paradise. Somewhere among the waves your island is waiting. But watch out: in this game day fades into night before you know it, and you have to find your home port before the cards run out. Tranquility is a cooperative card game for young and old. Together you fill the sea with islands, neatly in order from low to high. You build the playing area from the bottom left to the top right, and you try to bring the ship safely home. There is one special rule: talking is not allowed. Everything happens in silence, with a look, a smile and a little patience for one another. On your turn you play a card or discard two, and then you refill your hand. If you place a card next to a number that is already there, you hand in cards for the difference between them. Can you finish the field together? Then everyone reaches the finish line. A calm game that becomes surprisingly exciting, precisely because you have to work together without words.
