Imagine you can travel through time. Again and again you live through the same days, and again and again something terrible happens. Your job? Work out what goes wrong and stop it before the final loop is over. But there is one player who wants exactly the opposite. The Mastermind makes sure the disaster does happen, and he knows far more than you do. In Tragedy Looper: New Tragedies, 1 to 3 players step into the shoes of the heroes, while one person plays the Mastermind. That player picks a story from the thirteen scenarios in the box, or makes up one of their own. You start out with no idea what is going to happen. By playing cards, helping characters and gathering clues, you get closer to the truth bit by bit. Guess wrong at the end of a loop? Then everything rewinds to the start and you try again, this time with more knowledge. But watch out: the Mastermind has been paying attention and will adjust his plan. This is a puzzle full of tension in which every attempt opens new doors. For the first time, these stories by creator BakaFire are available in English, with thirty characters and thirteen scenarios. There is a guide booklet for the Mastermind and an easy starter set for the first two stories, so you can get used to the game at your own pace. And once you have the hang of it, you can simply invent your own tragedy.
