Through the Desert ML

This edition is in German, English and French. The desert stretches out endlessly, hot and full of secrets. In Through the Desert ML you lead your tribe of nomads across this sandy land in search of water and riches. You build long caravans, reach cool oases and try to close off pieces of desert before your opponents get there. Whoever collects the most points rules the sand. This game by master designer Reiner Knizia is all about calm thinking and looking ahead. There are several roads to victory: do you build the longest caravan, or do you grab as many oases as you can? Meanwhile, keep a close eye on your fellow players, because before you know it they cut your tribe off from an important water source. Many players find the feel a little like the game Go. The colourful plastic camels make every game extra fun to look at. Through the Desert ML is for two to five players aged ten and up and takes about forty five minutes. A lovely choice for anyone who enjoys tactics, patience and a shared adventure at the table.
