The Stygian Society

In The Stygian Society you and your friends head into a dark tower. Floor by floor you work your way up, defeat enemies and get ever closer to the master waiting at the top. You can only make it together, because on your own you stand no chance against everything hiding within those walls. What makes this game special? There is not a single die involved. Instead, you drop cubes into a tower, depending on the skills you choose. The enemies get their cubes too. Whatever rolls out at the bottom decides what happens, both for you and for your opponents. So you never know exactly how things will turn out, and that makes every turn exciting. Working together is truly at the heart of this game. You need to talk things through, divide the tasks and rely on each other to reach the top floor. Prefer to play alone? That works too, because The Stygian Society plays just fine solo. Count on about two hours of adventure for players aged fourteen and up.
