A friend vanishes without a trace and leaves behind a strange object. That object takes you on a journey through time and memory. In The Light in the Mist you uncover a personal story about growing up, told through a remarkable object that is a tarot deck, a puzzle game and a work of art all at once. You shift cards around, track down hidden messages and solve logic riddles and word puzzles to unravel the secrets of the deck. The tarot deck has 78 cards: 56 Minor Arcana cards and 22 Major Arcana cards. Each Major Arcana card stands for a puzzle. You solve it using sets of cards and clues from the story booklet. The solution is always a keyword that opens a new piece of the story. Some passages give you objects that you use later to unlock extra scenes, and certain puzzles have more than one answer. Find them all and you discover even more of the story. You play The Light in the Mist alone or with a small group, ideal for a quiet evening for two or a small club around the table. Thanks to the free structure and the puzzles of varying difficulty, there is something for everyone here, with more than five hours of play.
