Who won the battle for light? In Tesla vs. Edison: Duel you step into the shoes of Nikola Tesla or Thomas Edison. On one side of the table you build up your own electricity company, on the other side sits your opponent who wants exactly the same thing. The famous current wars come to life at your own kitchen table. You take on projects in different regions of the United States, improve your technology and wage a real propaganda battle around alternating current and direct current. You also buy shares in smaller companies and bring well-known names from that era into your business, each with their own action or clever trick. Whoever wins two of the three important systems takes the victory. And watch out: both Tesla and Edison have a secret way to win in one stroke. You can explain the rules in a few minutes and a game takes about half an hour. Even so, there is plenty to think about and weigh up. Ideal for two players who fancy a short but exciting contest, without having to plough through a thick rulebook.
