In Tanto Cuore: Expanding the House you step into the shoes of a landowner with a big house. Your task? Hire as many maids as you can and become the true King of Maids. New in this version is the garden theme, with cards such as "Garden", "Lily Garden" and "Leaving". You can play the game on its own, but it also works as the first expansion for Tanto Cuore. This is a deck-building game from Japan, in which you keep adding new cards to your deck as you play. Whoever has the most victory points at the end wins. You score points by taking the right maids and "Love" cards into service, and every choice opens a different path to victory. Some private maids stay with you and give you a small benefit each turn. But watch out for your opponents, because they can make your maids ill or talk them into bad habits, and that costs you points. The cards are drawn in Japanese anime style, with work by no fewer than 27 different artists. In total the box holds 280 cards, along with divider tabs and a rulebook. Everything fits neatly into a handy box, so you can easily take the game along to friends or family.
