Tangram City

Long ago, in a beautiful eastern kingdom, a queen called her city builders together. She wanted new cities for her people, more beautiful than ever before. Tradition said there had to be harmony between people and nature, and the rectangle was seen as the ideal shape to protect a city. Who will build the finest city and earn all the riches of the realm? In Tangram City you place city tiles on your player board. What makes it special is that you have secret information about which tile is coming next. The tiles have two sides, so you have to think carefully about how you lay everything down. Aim for harmony and try to form the largest possible rectangle. At the end of each round you score points for your biggest rectangle, and at the end of the game you get bonus points for the harmony between people and nature. This is a game for anyone who enjoys puzzling and thinking ahead. You play it with two to five people, or happily on your own. Around the table your own city slowly grows, tile by tile, while you secretly already know what is coming. A lovely moment together, with just a little tension about who ends up building the most beautiful city.
