Tali

Some two thousand years ago, Romans were already sitting together tossing sheep bones. Even before dice existed, they used these bones to test their luck. Tali brings that old game back to life. You feel the bones in your hand, hear them roll across the table and wait to see which side lands face up. Whoever has the nerve, and the gods on their side, takes the pot. Each round everyone puts in some coins and then throws the bones. The four sides show Roman numerals: I, III, IV and VI. Throw at least one VI and you score points. The player with the highest throw, or the dreamed-of Venus throw, takes the coins for that round. And whoever rolls the complete Venus, with all four different sides, wins the whole pot. Tension until the very last throw is guaranteed. Tali is really two games in one box. Besides the historical rules of old, it also includes a short roleplaying variant.
