SUMO

Two sumo wrestlers face each other in the ring. You sit on one side, your opponent on the other. With the right card at the right moment, you slowly push the wrestlers away from you, towards the edge. Whoever forces the other out of the ring wins. Sounds simple? There is more to it than you think. SUMO is played with a small deck of cards from 1 to 5 in four colours. You take turns playing a card. The other player has to follow the same colour if possible. The highest card wins the trick and pushes the wrestlers a little further away. But you can also strike sooner with one of the three special throw moves, which pull victory your way in one go. So pay close attention to what your opponent is holding. A game takes only five minutes, so you will easily play a few rounds in a row. Perfect for two players who want to compete together for a while, at the kitchen table or on the go. Short, exciting and different every time.
