Put your cap on backwards and crack your knuckles, because in Streets Of Steel: Kickin' Asphalt you fight your way together through a run-down city full of villains. The mood is pure 1980s: pixelated, rough and gloriously over the top. You take on grubby Punks, hot-headed Firebugs and the sneaky Killgaroos (yes, those are ninja kangaroos). At the end the big boss is waiting: Super Mutie. This is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players, in which you head into battle against the enemy together. You roll piles of dice, gamble your resources, smash open crates and use all kinds of items to beat the waves of thugs. After every round the board shifts along. Everything on the first space disappears, and a new piece of the city arrives right away with fresh opponents. That keeps the pace up from start to finish. You decide how hard it gets. You start with a limited number of coins, and those determine how many chances you have. Will you take down the boss, or go down together? Perfect for an evening full of action, laughter and that real arcade feeling from the old days. You can count on wanting to play it again straight after.
