Steam Up A Feast of Dim Sum

Picture this: a turning platter full of stacked bamboo baskets, each filled with a different kind of dim sum. In Steam Up A Feast of Dim Sum it is all about collecting, choosing and enjoying. You gather the tastiest bites for your own feast area and try to build the fullest plate at the table. It is a game that brings you the atmosphere of a cosy dim sum restaurant. Each round you take two actions. You earn and spend food tokens to buy baskets of dim sum. With Fortune cards you give yourself a little boost, or you throw some sand into your opponents' food. From the second round on there is another surprise: each round a Fate card is revealed that sets off an event. Sometimes everyone at the table feels the effects right away. The game ends as soon as a certain number of baskets has been bought or the Fate deck runs out. Then you count the Hearty Points. Whoever has the most points wins the game and leaves the table with the fullest stomach. Suitable for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, and playable in about an hour.
