Spooktacular

Halloween, 1986. A storm rages outside and the cinema is showing the Spooktacular film festival all night long. Then lightning strikes. The power goes haywire and a hundred years of movie monsters escape from the silver screen. And you? You are one of those monsters. Free at last to cause chaos. Scare the unsuspecting cinema-goers out of their wits and devour them in a race to become the scariest monster of all time. In Spooktacular you pick from twenty different movie monsters, and each one plays in its own way. The basic rules are quick to explain, and everything else you need to know is right there on your own monster board. With so many options and nasty monster powers, you will want to come back to the cinema again and again. You play in rounds. On your turn you carry out the steps on your monster board, and then the player to your left takes over. You play cards, let new guests in, move across the board, frighten people, devour them and use your monster's special powers. As soon as someone reaches 50 points or all the tickets are gone, the game ends. Whoever collects the most points is the winner and the scariest monster of them all.
