This edition is in French and Dutch. Step into the shoes of a wealthy merchant and collect gems and other riches! The board game Splendor is a tactical, smooth but addictive game that can be played with two or more people. In Splendor you play a rich merchant. You use your wealth to acquire mines and means of transport and to recruit artists who turn gems into beautiful jewels.
In Splendor you collect and invest the right gems (chips). You can invest these to build a steady supply of jewels, but in time you need to switch to collecting prestige and tempting the nobles into buying your jewels!
Each round you may take only one single action! The first player to collect fifteen prestige points through prestigious developments and nobles wins the game!
