Similo Lord of the Rings

In Similo Lord of the Rings you dive into the world of Middle-earth together. One player knows which character is secret and tries to guide the others to the right answer. You do this with cards from your hand, giving hints about the characters on the table. Place a card upright and the secret character is similar to it. Place a card sideways and that character has to go. The rest of the table puzzles along and tries to work out what you mean. Say the secret character is Arwen. You place Galadriel upright to show that you are looking for a female elf. Or you place Saruman sideways to make clear that wizards and villains can be ruled out. The others guess and look for the link. Without words, using only cards and a bit of empathy, you get closer to the answer together. The cards are beautifully drawn by Naïade and show familiar faces from the books and films. A game takes about fifteen minutes and you play with two to eight players. Do you already own another Similo game? Then you can simply combine the decks for even more variety.
