Similo Jurassic World

You know that feeling when half a word is enough to be understood? That is exactly what Similo Jurassic World is about. One player knows which secret card the others have to guess, but may not say a word. Instead, that player lays down other cards as hints. If a card is placed upright, it resembles the secret card in some way. If a card is placed sideways, it can be ruled out. The rest of the table puzzles out the answer together. Say the secret card is the Tyrannosaurus rex. You play the Velociraptor upright and hope your fellow players think: aha, we are looking for a dinosaur, a meat eater, maybe even one from the first film. Or you place the Mosasaurus sideways to show that sea creatures are not the answer. What exactly do you mean? The others have to work that out for themselves, and that leads to wonderful moments of doubting, discussing and cheering together. The cards are beautifully drawn by Naïade and are full of familiar faces from the Jurassic World world. A game takes about fifteen minutes, so playing again is easy. And do you want to expand later? Similo Jurassic World simply fits with the other parts in the series.
