Twelve cards are on the table, and only one of them counts. That is the secret in Similo Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. One player knows which character is the right one and tries to steer the others in the right direction. Not with words, but with cards from their hand. The result is an exciting game of giving clues and puzzling together. How does it work? The clue giver plays cards to give hints. A card played sideways means: these characters are similar, so remove them. A card played upright means the opposite: there is something here that matches the secret card, so we keep it. Maybe it is about a wizard, a green background or an open mouth. The guessers have to work out together what the clue giver means. Every round the choice gets smaller and the tension gets higher. The cards are beautifully drawn by Xavier Naïade Durin and show familiar characters from the world of Fantastic Beasts. The game is for two to eight players and takes about fifteen minutes, so you can easily play a few rounds in a row. Want more variety? You can combine these cards with other titles in the Similo series.
