Shipwrights of the North Sea

The year is 900. The Viking age has just begun and the coast is buzzing with activity. In Shipwrights of the North Sea you step into the shoes of a shipbuilder who dreams of the finest fleet on the North Sea. Who will build the most and the best ships? That is up to you, with a bit of luck and the right choices. To build, you need resources. You carefully collect oak, wool and iron, and meanwhile you bring the right craftspeople to your harbour. Gold is precious, so you think twice before you spend it. All sorts of characters wander around the harbour town, each one sneakier than the last. You had better hope they are on your side. With two to five players you will spend about an hour at the table shuffling, trading and building. Anyone from ten years old can join in. A game full of choices, where every turn brings new opportunities and you try to stay just one ship ahead of your opponents.
