Sand

Far away an endless desert stretches out. Nobody knows what was ever here, only that there is now nothing but sand. Still, there is hope. In the last cities small plants grow in greenhouses, and you are one of the travellers who takes them to the farthest corners of this sea of sand. On the back of your faithful caterpillar you cross the dunes, from city to city, looking for gold and maybe even for new life. In Sand you set out to pick up goods and deliver them somewhere else. You earn gold for these services, and that is exactly what it is all about. Along the way your caterpillar grows if you take good care of it, which makes your tasks go faster. You meet travel companions who help you and you get missions that can pay off nicely at the end. After six rounds the player with the most gold wins. You can play Sand with up to four players, but also completely on your own. Count on about two hours of wandering through the desert together, making plans and slowly discovering that something can bloom among all that sand after all. A game for anyone who loves gripping adventures and a story that stays with you.
