Rooster Chase

Welcome to Barcelos, a region in the north of Portugal. King Dinis, Queen Isabel and Princess Constança live there in their castle. Next to the palace stands a rooster farm, and that farm is the starting point of a cheerful chase. One day an employee leaves the gate open. The roosters spot their chance and run straight into the village. Chaos everywhere! The king steps in at once. He promises a reward to anyone who can catch the roosters and bring them back to the farm. The whole village joins in, and so do you. But how do you catch such a stubborn rooster? With worms as bait. Every rooster has its own taste, so you need to look closely at which worm you use and when. Whoever works the smartest catches the most roosters. You play Rooster Chase over two rounds. Each round you take five turns, and together you catch ten roosters. Place a worm to grab a rooster and then try to complete a task. Those tasks are about patterns of worms or about sets of roosters. If you manage to finish them, you earn points. A game full of choices, fun and plenty of clucking commotion at the table.
