Rolling Realms

In the first months of the corona period, when many people ended up at home, Jamey Stegmaier came up with a game you could play with the whole world through Facebook Live. That is how Rolling Realms was born: a game in which you get going with a pen and dice, and which you can share with almost anyone. In Rolling Realms you compete over three rounds for as many stars as possible. Each card is a small game in itself, with its own rules and its own challenges. You play on cards with erasable markers, so afterwards you simply wipe everything clean and start again. Each turn one player rolls two dice. Then everyone uses that same roll on their own cards to collect resources and earn stars. So everyone plays at the same time, and that makes it nice and quick. After three rounds everyone counts their stars, and whoever has the most wins. A game for the table, but just as good for an evening together at a distance.
