Rolled West

Head west, stake your claim on the map and build your own mining empire. In Rolled West you roll special dice each round and pull resources from the land. With wood you build settlements and take the majority in different types of terrain. With metals you fulfil contracts, make sales or invest in a growing town. The nice thing is that you stay busy during your opponents' turns too. You set resources aside to use them well later, and you note down all your choices with a marker on the included score boards. That way everyone at the table keeps thinking and planning. After six rounds it gets exciting: who played best and comes out on top? Rolled West is a lovely game for two to four players, takes about half an hour and is suitable from age 14. Perfect for an evening together at the table.
