Riverbed Hunt

Deep below the surface of the river Ie live the tritons. They build houses and great ships, just like people do, and they make their living from trade. Their greatest treasure? The rare seeds of the starlight kelp, hidden in the riverbed. People pay gold for them. But not everyone is happy with that trade. A group of tritons, the Separatists, is rising up and trying to disrupt it. And somewhere in the shadows lurks the Profiteer, quietly playing both sides against each other. In Riverbed Hunt you take on the role of a Merchant, a Separatist or the Profiteer. Nobody at the table knows which role you have. And that is exactly what makes it exciting. On your turn you dive down to explore river tiles, swim across the board or reveal what lies hidden. Play the right card from your hand at the right moment and bring objects to the surface. Everyone plays with a secret goal, so watch carefully what the others do. If enough Kelp is brought up, trade flourishes and the Merchants win. If mostly Logs turn up, the Separatists block the trade and they win. And if enough Coins surface? Then the Profiteer has fooled everyone. A game full of secrets that comes to life best with a big group at the table.
