Who makes the tastiest dish and becomes the pride of the town? In Rival Restaurants you race around the market with your chef, buy fresh ingredients and try to be the first to get your recipes on the table. The first player to reach 20 popularity points may call themselves the winner. And believe us: everyone at the table wants that title. Each day you go through three phases. First you collect your money and choose where you are heading, because once you are somewhere, you stay there for the rest of the day. Then you have exactly one minute to buy and trade with the other players. Finally you cook your recipes, and the more complicated the dish, the more points it scores. That minute full of trading and rushing makes the game wonderfully exciting. Every player controls their own chef with a special power that lets you bend the rules a little in your favour. There are twelve chefs to choose from and every restaurant has its own way of growing, with rewards along the way. Want an extra edge? Then buy action cards for that one golden moment. Rival Restaurants is a busy, cheerful game for 2 to 6 players that calls for an hour full of kitchen chaos.
