Rattus Cartus

The year is 1347 and the plague is leaving a trail of misery across Europe. The ruler of your land has just died of the disease, and now it is up to you. As one of the princes, you want to take his place. But that will only work if you get enough people behind you. In Rattus Cartus you travel from town to town to gather followers. Each day you visit another place, full of buildings that all give you something different. Enter a building and you recruit followers from that group. Sometimes you take a gamble on a stranger you meet in the street. And yes, there are a few rats scurrying about too. But a rat or two, surely that won't kill you? This card game is based on the board game Rattus. It contains twelve different buildings, and you choose yourself which ones you use. That way every round plays differently. Do you play it safe, or do you risk the plague catching up with you? Perfect for an evening around the table with meaty choices and a touch of tension.
