Raindrops

Take a look at a window covered in rain. The drops slide down, cross each other and draw little paths on the glass. In Raindrops you follow those paths and let your thoughts drift off to memories that you bring back to life. It is a game that feels calm and familiar, as if you are staring outside together on a grey afternoon. On your turn you pick a path of matching symbols that runs down across the shared window. You start at the top and move to the spaces below or diagonally next to it. The tiles you collect are used to complete your own Memory cards, because every card asks for a certain pattern. Reach the bottom row and hidden Thunder tokens are waiting for you there. And if you finish cards, you can sometimes claim a whole set of the same memory for extra Cloud tokens. Raindrops is for 2 to 5 players and a game takes about ten minutes. Thanks to the age of 4 and up, it is also a lovely choice to play together with the little ones. The game ends when someone has completed ten Memory cards or when the bag is empty for the second time. Short, warm and ready to play again right away.
