Step into a world of quests, gold and adventure with Questeros, a trick-taking card game with a fantasy twist. The game uses a tarot deck of 78 cards and mixes it with the feel of classic roleplaying games. You play ten rounds, and each round you get ten cards in hand. Every card has a value and a rank. Whoever plays the highest card wins the quest. The exciting part is the prediction. At the start of each round you say out loud how many quests you think you will win. Is your estimate exactly right? Then you earn 100 gold per quest. Win too many or too few and your gold goes down, or you even have to pay. That keeps every choice at the table tense, because you have to judge your hand well and sometimes dare to take a gamble. The 22 prestige cards make things even more surprising, because they beat all ordinary cards and each has its own power that can turn a turn, a round or even the whole game upside down. After ten rounds everyone counts their gold, and whoever has the most wins. Questeros plays with one to six players and a game takes about forty-five minutes. Nice to know: the deck is designed for the card game, but it also works as a real tarot deck. For roleplaying fans there is even a fate system available. That way you get more than one adventure out of the same box.
