Long ago, the great wizard Dominick Dey discovered how to travel between worlds. Using the magic of the elements, he spent centuries bringing back remarkable treasures: strange fruits, wondrous creatures and objects no one had ever seen before. But one day he did not come home. What happened to him, nobody knows. In Portals you follow in his footsteps yourself. Together with your opponent you travel from world to world, collect magical keys and open gates to unknown places. You place colourful element stones on your cards to form the right shapes. Whoever uses the keys well and arranges the colours cleverly side by side scores the most points. And whoever matches the mastery of Dominick Dey will be the first to find him again. You can explain the rules in a few minutes, but you will be playing for a long time. You share everything with the other player, so sometimes you get right in each other's way. There is no fixed route to victory, which makes every game different. The stones feel good in your hand and the colours leap off the table. Would you rather puzzle on your own? Then there is a nice solo mode that really makes you think.
