Penguin Party

The long, dark winter is over. The sun is shining again and the penguins are in the mood for a party. They go fishing and build tall towers of ice so they can keep a better eye on the water. The more penguins fit in the pyramid, the better. But that turns out to be pretty tricky. In Penguin Party you build a pyramid of penguin cards together. On your turn you play one card, to the left or right of the bottom row or higher up in the pyramid. If you want to place a card on a higher level, it has to rest on two penguins and at least one of them must be the same colour. The goal? Get rid of all your cards as quickly as possible. If you don't manage that, you get penalty points for every card still in your hand. You play as many rounds as there are players. At the end, the player with the fewest penalty points wins. A game you can explain in a moment, that hits the table quickly and delivers a nice dose of tension and laughter in between other games. With a group or cosily as a pair, Penguin Party always fits.
