Ouch!

Deep in the desert the prettiest cactus flowers are waiting for you. But watch out, because sharp spines are hidden among those flowers. In Ouch! you try to collect as many colourful flowers as you can, while hoping you don't prick yourself on a cactus. It's an exciting card game for the whole family, with the tension rising with every card. You can explain the rules in a few minutes, so you'll be playing in no time. Six cards lie face down. You pick one and turn it over from one of the four sides. Do you see a flower? Then you may keep the card. Do you see a cactus? Ouch! Then you go home empty handed. Along the way you meet desert animals that help you out. The hissing adder takes a card from the next player who gets pricked, and the little desert fox gives you an extra turn. At the end you add up your flowers. Four different colours together earn you a nice bonus, and whoever has the most red flowers scores extra points. Playing with young children? Then just leave out a few rules to make the game easier. That way everyone can enjoy this search through the desert.
