It is 2050 and San Lazaro was once a city to be proud of. But a mysterious computer virus has turned everything upside down. Ordinary people change into unpredictable, dangerous creatures you no longer recognise. The city is locked down and you are right in the middle of it. In Omicron Protocol you take charge of a small team of heroes trying to survive this cyberpunk nightmare. You can play this game in several ways, and that makes it so much fun to explore together. Take on an opponent, where you each take turns controlling the enemy too, making life hard for one another. Or join forces and work as a team against the threat. Fancy playing alone? That is possible too. Every character has its own story, its own personality and special powers. The miniatures are worked out down to the smallest detail, so there is plenty to admire on the table. Each round you divide action points among your characters and move them one by one across the board. The Action Store and the Luck Tokens keep the tension high, so no game ever feels the same. The stories come from a huge world full of background, and you can link separate scenarios together into a short campaign. In less than an hour you get a tactical adventure you will be talking about for a long time.
