Oddland

Somewhere out there lies a strange island full of odd creatures and colourful landscapes. In Oddland you explore that island together with the other players. In just seven turns you place terrain cards and put down your animals. Each animal scores points in its own way, and that depends entirely on where it stands. The nice thing is that cards may overlap. That way the landscape keeps changing, and areas grow into one another. So you run into each other all the time: you block a spot, you bluff about your plans or you quietly piggyback on someone else's move. There is little space, so every choice counts. Oddland plays smoothly, but gives you plenty to think about. You play with 1 to 5 explorers and a game takes about 40 minutes. Because the map is built up differently every time, you will keep wanting to play again.
