Obsession Characters Expansion

Genteel chaos in Derbyshire.

On the outskirts of Derby lives an enigmatic dowager in a far too pompous country house that poses as a Scottish castle. The interior is even slightly worse. But it is above all the company she keeps that raises eyebrows: odd characters, exiled nobles from all over Europe, and a motley crew of home-grown eccentrics with more noble titles than common sense.

Polite society gives her a wide berth — but anyone who dares to look a little closer discovers a delightful shambles full of personalities.

This Characters expansion for Obsession adds a whole host of colourful characters who bring unique actions with them. Meet, among others:

• Constable Bucket – Who shows unwanted guests the door, politely but firmly

• Mr. Higbee – Who can always find someone somewhere to help with the household (“References? They are around here somewhere…”)

• Reverend Grantly – A clergyman full of good advice and moral backbone

• And of course the eccentric Dowager Marchioness, who will pair you off in no time with a Prussian major, a Swedish nobleman and a Russian count.

An expansion full of charm, tactical ingenuity and social spectacle.
