Norsewind

The year is 793 and the coast of Northumbria is on fire. The raid on Lindisfarne was only the beginning, because more Vikings are on their way. You rule one of the kingdoms of Anglo-Saxon England and it is up to you to prepare your land for the coming storm. Strengthen your defences and build new towns, but be careful: the bigger your kingdom grows, the more Vikings you attract. In Norsewind you build your own realm every turn. You choose a card and place it cleverly, so you get as much benefit from it as possible. Gather loyal followers and make your castles stronger, because the Vikings are not coming for a friendly visit. At the end, your rows only score if your defence is greater than the strength of the attack. Play with friends or family and it quickly becomes an exciting contest to see who builds the strongest realm. And if you prefer to play on your own, you can also play Norsewind solo. An evening full of choices, plans and hoping that your walls hold.
