Noir

Rain on the streets, shadows in the alley and a story you write yourself. Noir takes you to the dark city from the crime films of the forties and fifties. Together at the table you build exciting storylines full of secrets, witnesses and hidden traces. Exactly the mood of a good old detective film, but with cards in your hand. You share a single deck of 120 cards, split into six types: mood, locations, help, obstacles, witnesses and clues. Every card carries a name you would recognise from a black-and-white film. The goal is to lay combinations of six cards, one of each type. Such a complete set forms a storyline, your own little piece of crime in the big city. The game continues until the deck runs out. Whoever managed to lay the most storylines wins. Noir is played by two players and is a lovely choice for an evening where atmosphere and puzzling together take centre stage.
