This time the roles are nicely reversed. In Munchkin Zombies Deluxe you step into the rotting shoes of a zombie. You and your fellow players shuffle through the world, hunting for brains and loot. The 'monsters' are now the ordinary people trying to stop the zombie invasion. Think of the firefighter, the sports mum and the tough action hero. Collect your own mojo, such as the Atomic Zombie or the Voodoo Zombie, and pick up more and more powers as you level up. The game works nice and simply. You kick open a door, run into something or someone, and fight your way up. Beat your opponent and you grab treasure and climb a level. If things go wrong, something nasty awaits and you drop back down. The fun is in the interaction at the table. One player offers help, another sneakily throws in an extra enemy. Whoever reaches level 10 first is the winner. This deluxe edition is packed with funny cards and plenty of tongue in cheek. The humour and the odd twists make for an evening full of laughter and surprises. Perfect for a group of three to six players who enjoy a helping of chaos and fantasy.
