Munchkin Gloom

Imagine a world where heroes do not grow happy from their adventures, but only ever more miserable. That is exactly what happens in Munchkin Gloom. You take charge of a party of adventurers and make sure things go as badly for them as possible. They get betrayed by friends, eaten by dragons and found by doom ducks. And they are not even dead yet. The goal sounds odd, but that is what makes it so much fun: the most miserable party wins. You pile one disaster on top of another and try to plunge your own adventurers as deep into woe as you can before they kick the bucket. Meanwhile, you do everything you can to wish your opponents a little happiness, because that is the last thing they want. The see-through cards that you stack on top of each other make every round a surprise. Munchkin Gloom is a game for 2 to 5 players aged 13 and up and takes about an hour. Perfect for an evening of dark humour and cheerful schadenfreude with friends or family.
