Mini Express

Step into the world of the rail barons. In Mini Express you and your fellow fortune seekers manage four railway companies that want to conquer the American West of the 19th century. Who plays the railways best and becomes the most powerful boss on the tracks? Each turn you choose between two things: lay track to grow a company, or buy shares. Lay new track to a city and you gain influence over the goods that are in demand there. And this is where the real game begins: your shares only pay off well if you have more influence over those goods than the others. Every move means weighing things up, peeking at your tablemates' plans and striking at the right moment. The game ends as soon as two companies have run out of track or have handed out all their shares. Then you count points and see who played the smartest. Mini Express is for 1 to 5 players, is suitable from age 8 and takes about 45 minutes. Plenty of time for a spicy adventure on the rails, without spending too long at the table.
