Thousands of years ago a new era began. The first humans no longer roamed alone in search of food, but formed small groups. They built the first settlements and divided tasks among themselves. Scientists call that period the Mesolithic. In Mesos you step right into that world and take charge of your own tribe. As chief you look after the growth of your group. You welcome new people, keep everyone fed, build up your settlement and respond to everything that happens. Each round you place your totem pawn on the offer. The order of the pawns decides who gets to choose first. That way you collect characters and buildings that make your tribe stronger. Every card has its own effect and can earn you prestige points. Whoever gives their tribe the most prestige wins the game. Mesos is a game for two to five players aged ten and up and takes about fifty minutes. Plenty of time to bring an ancient world to life together and find out who makes the smartest choices.
