Marry the Monster

In Marry the Monster you step into the shoes of a duke who wants to build up his land. The only problem is a monster roaming around, the fachan, that smashes everything in its path. The beast is actually just lonely. And you use that to your advantage: you place a fake bride right behind your opponents' buildings. The lovestruck monster charges straight at it and leaves a trail of destruction in their land, while you calmly keep building your own. The game is all about building and surviving. You score points for buildings that are still standing at your next turn. Can you keep them out of the monster's claws? You play cards to take your turn, with no complicated extra steps. The game simply keeps going until there is a winner. Marry the Monster is a game full of teasing and mean moves, where you pass the monster on to each other and take turns chuckling when it strikes somewhere else. With 3 to 5 players and about 45 minutes at the table, this is an evening where no one is safe and everyone laughs.
