Seven turtles swim around an island and they all want the same thing: to lay their eggs on the beach and score as many points as possible. In Mahé you roll dice to move forward, but you have to pay close attention. You choose how many dice you roll, one, two or three, but the total may never go above seven. If it does, you start your lap all over again. Do you dare to roll that third die? The best part is the stacks. If you land on another turtle, that turtle has to carry you for the rest of the way. And whoever is on top decides how many dice the bottom player must roll. If you are on top, you sit comfortably and have a say. If you are at the bottom, you can only hope it goes well. Because if the bottom turtle rolls too many pips, you both fall off. Mahé is quick to explain and full of tension and laughter. In twenty minutes you play a spicy game in which luck and daring go hand in hand. Suitable for two to seven players aged six and up, so young and old can join in at the table. A game you will want to play again straight away.
