King of Tokyo

Giant robots, mutant monsters and strange creatures from space: in King of Tokyo they all become a giant that wants to smash Tokyo to pieces. And each other, of course. Because only one of you can rule the city, and everybody wants that spot. Each turn you roll six dice. They show points, energy, hearts to heal and claws to attack. You may roll three times, and each time you choose which dice to keep and which to try again. Do you go for points, do you lash out, or do you charge up your energy to buy a nasty card later on? With those cards you give your monster a second head, an extra die, a death ray or a thick layer of armour. Whoever stands in Tokyo scores extra points, but cannot heal and fights alone against everyone else. Exciting stuff. The game ends when someone reaches 20 points, or when only one monster is left standing. Short, fierce and full of shouting and laughter around the table. Exactly the kind of game you want to play again straight away.
