Kavango

Head into the wilderness of southern Africa and become a conservationist. In Kavango you turn your own piece of land into a thriving nature reserve. Over three brisk rounds you pick cards at the same time as the other players and build up a healthy habitat step by step. Along the way you carry out research to earn money, which you invest again in protection and a safe home for vulnerable and endangered animals. The further the game goes, the harder your choices become. Who ends up with the finest reserve? Kavango was created by Matt and Zara while they were working in conservation in Botswana themselves. You can tell in every detail: the game feels real and gives an honest picture of how conservation works in this part of the world. With 160 different animal cards, 45 research cards, 10 conservationists and 5 landscape boards, no two games are the same. Suitable for 1 to 5 players aged 10 and up, with a playing time of about 60 minutes. Please note: this is the English-language version of Kavango.
