By placing your bears at the right moment, you can not only claim dominance but also trigger unique abilities to outsmart your opponent. The best fishing spots fill up fast, so you need to plan ahead and stay flexible. Who will master the river and collect the most salmon before winter begins?
In Katmai you take turns playing bear cards and placing bears on the Brooks River, where they try to claim the best fishing spots. Each spot has its own benefits and challenges. Tactical thinking and timing are key, because as the river fills up, every move matters more.
By choosing the right bears and using their abilities wisely, you can catch fish, block your opponent and complete extra goals. Whoever has the most salmon and completed challenges at the end wins the game!
