Kabuto Sumo

In Kabuto Sumo you step into the role of a wrestling insect. You push discs onto a crowded ring and try to knock your opponents off. The last one standing wins. The game is quick, you feel the tension in your fingers, and every push can change the whole playing field. The idea comes from two remarkable worlds: the arcade hall with coins tumbling over the edge, and Japanese sumo wrestling. That combination makes Kabuto Sumo something you have not seen before. With the right angle and enough speed, you can slide an opponent clean off the mat. Every beetle also has its own shape and strength, so no two games play out the same way. A round takes about fifteen minutes, so you will happily start another battle right away. Planning, pushing and just a bit of luck: around the table it quickly gets funny and fiercely competitive at the same time.
