Just Desserts

The guests are seated and they are hungry. As a server in this cosy café, it is your job to give everyone exactly the dessert they fancy. Can you do that better than the rest? In Just Desserts you compete for the title of best waiter, and it all moves along nicely fast. Each player starts with three dessert cards, while three guests wait in the middle of the table. Every dessert has one or more flavours, think chocolate, fruit or pastry. The guests show what they are craving, but also what they really do not like. On your turn you draw a card, place a new guest and choose what to do. Serve a guest exactly their favourite dessert and you get a tip in the form of an extra card. The first player to serve three guests of the same kind or five different guests wins the game. Want to add a little extra? There are additional game variants. You can snatch guests away from another waiter by offering them more treats, force everyone to give up a guest, or secretly throw a surprise party to score a guest out of turn. That way the table plays out differently every time.
