Ishtar

In Ishtar you bring colour and life back to a dry desert. Where there was only sand at first, blooming gardens full of trees and flowers slowly appear. You decide where you plant, how you grow and which spots you claim for yourself. Whoever lays out the most beautiful gardens may call themselves the Royal Gardener. This is a game of choosing and placing. You lay down tiles, let your gardens expand and collect gems along the way to improve your skills. Every move counts, because your opponents are after the same fertile ground. With a bit of overview and the right choices at the right moment, you will grow into the best gardener at the table. Ishtar comes from designer Bruno Cathala, who is known for games that are easy to learn but still give you plenty to think about. Perfect for an evening together at the table, where everyone is looking for the finest spot to bloom.
